The Rabbits Islandby MambeComment: Good position of the horizon line, although I'd be tempted to crop out some of the sky down to the start of the clouds so the emphasis is more on the land and waves. Nice use of near, middle, far elements. The lighting seems a little harsh and as such the image falls a little flat for me. Looks like a great location, though. |

Almost Edenby mocabelaComment: There is a little too much dark areas in the image and it is also lacking a central focal point. The sky also looks blown out. Only suggestions I can make would be to shoot away from the sun in a different location. Perhaps moving more towards the lake and getting reflections instead of large clumps of dark treeline. |

Charge!!!by jab119Comment: I recently saw a display just like this one - crazy I say! I like the placement of the plane and how the contrail of smoke suggests it came zooming in from the lower left corner. The plane is fairly sharp and you've managed to capture some motion in the propellers. The guy tops it all off with the red costume that makes it stand out greatly - he looks like a hood ornament. You can almost make out the details in his face. Good capture. |

Bad Moon Risingby jbsmithanaComment: There seems to be a little too much rock in the image. Cropping it at the points at which it connects to the sides of the image so that the diagonal line goes from bottom corner to top corner would make it more dynamic and reduce the amount of rock. The moon doesnt really stand out more than just a white blob - it is hard to expose both foreground and moon in what appears to be very harsh lighting conditions. There also appears to be some compression artifacts and the image looks oversharpened. |

My Home Townby Prime_TimeComment: Ah downtown Wichita! The lights are bordering on being a bit too bright/blurry but not overly so. I like the reflections in the river. |

Its a Frogs Lifeby kirtiebuComment: The lighting and exposure is good. The composition is lacking as the frog is central to the image, which makes it feel a little static. There is a lot of negative space at the top and bottom and he is looking out of the frame. Having it in landscape orientation and giving him room to look coud potentially improve the composition. |

Bengalaby rameviComment: It looks like the focus was more on the tree behind the tiger as the head and body is a little soft in comparison. It also looks a little underexposed, probably due to the whiteness of the fur, which can be hard to expose right. |

Got Kleenex?by BradComment: The texture on the beak is really good. The main problem here is the lighting. although you got good lighting on the beak and the top part of the head the side is really dark and you've completely lost the eye to darkness. As with human portraits, the eyes are a key feature to show life. It looks like you also have some purple fringing at the top, liking from the extremes of dark and light. |

Golden Lightby JPRComment: The mix of light and dark makes the image very dramatic. I also love the golden tones. A small baby and mother clutched together while seeminly interrupted during nursing is a subject that is going to make most people melt and go awwww. A very touching shot. |
