The texture on the beak is really good. The main problem here is the lighting. although you got good lighting on the beak and the top part of the head the side is really dark and you've completely lost the eye to darkness. As with human portraits, the eyes are a key feature to show life. It looks like you also have some purple fringing at the top, liking from the extremes of dark and light.

Would have been great if the eye were visible

Excellent. Crisp and clean. I might have tried some dodging around the eye, but the photo was executed very well.

The beak and teh fuzzy stuff in the bird's nose are beautifully sharp and clear. I just wish that his/her eye weren't in such deep shadow.

Duck with attitude... I would have like to see just a tad more in the eye socket area

Very sharp, great detail. Would have been better if you used a flash to kill the shadows around her eyes.
Good Luck

Heh. With light on his eye, this would've been more effective. Very crisp, focused shot, though.
