I really like this shot, especially how the land in the background kind of melts away. I guess my only suggestion would be to play with the color a bit. I don't think the body of the boat stands out enough from the water. The sail sure does. 8.

Flight of the bumblebee

WOW! I can't imagine how you ever captured a flying bee like that. I liked the look of motion in the wings and the fact the back ground does not detract from the bee. I guess my only beef would be the light reflection given off in the abdomen, thorax and eyes and the far wing is not lit as well. But this is being picky. 7.

This is a neat shot, for it truly looks like half is during the night while the lower is during the day. I wonder why you included the tower I would have cropped it out. It takes away from the focus of the sky and perhaps included a bit more land it almost looks as if the camera was tilted but i am sure this is not the case, it just gives that impression. Still good shot.7.

Bridge over Troubled Water

The picture is gorgeous but I just don't think it fits the title too well. The focus is on the tree and not on the bridge and the water sure doesn't look troubled it looks as serene as can be. But aside from that it is a neat shot.6.

What a beautiful scenery shot. I love the ice in the bush. I wish there was a bit more color and I wondered about the red in the pine trees to the left. Did the rising sun do that or was it an issue with the shot looks kind of strange. Good shot none the less.7.

Purple Rain

Cool idea! I really liked the idea of using the leaf as the background it gives a great contrast in color. Was all the rain the samw color or did the lighting make some look dark. The only prob I see is it is starting to lose focus ont he lower left hand part of the shot. The other corners do too a little which could be a nice effect but it would have to be evenly distributed.7.

Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire

Neat idea, and well executed. My only critique is the fire picked up nice and crisp, but the glow from the flame looks distorted and noisy, it could be just picking up the texture of the background, but it gives the impression of noise. Soft edges could have added to the glow efect. Still great shot. 7.

Blue Christmas

The dog does look blue, like s/he is sad that there is no bones under the tree. For me I don't think the black and white worked in this shot. I would liked to have seen the green of the cristmas tree for there wasn't much of it in the shot. 7.
