Over the Cityby epescalaComment: Wonderful, though the one dark cloud seems overpowering and unbalanced. Just bad luck. A nice composition well exposed. |

The Ides of March 7:14 AM by hahn23Comment: Good golly, what a scene! There's so much interest here it hurts. A few small criticisms- much too dark and contrasty for my taste, the foreground tree distracts, and did you shoot this with the widest lens you had, because, wow what a scene. I don't know what was going on to your right, but if you could have moved over and lowered your camera to bring those foreground rocks more into play it would really have make this incredible. |

Florida Sunby bjoernComment: I think I might have gone with more water and less sky since the detail in the sky is less interesting even than the foreground. That would have made the silhouetted portion more dominant and therefore more interesting. |

hOleby mefnjComment: A striking composition, albeit an unconventional landscape. I also see possibilities for non-negative and landscape format compositions (especially with such mirror perfect reflections). |

Carpe Diemby JuliBocComment: A little brighter and you would have had a subject. I little darker would have made a silhouette. You got caught in the middle. |

PeriwinkleSunriseby dali_lama_2kComment: I applaud your attempt to create a bokeh effect with the sunrise, but your subject isn't quite strong enough IMO, and your exposure is a bit dark overall. Perhaps if you'd gotten a little closer the shells to bring out their interesting detail. |

Into the sunby LawtonComment: No subject and little detail in the sky. Did you use a tripod? |

Intrepid Sunsetby tvsometimeComment: Unlike many others in this challenge, you have succeeded in creating interest in your foreground by using it as a silhouette against a very dramatic sky. Nice creativity and balance. |

Introduction to Olbers' Paradoxby VenserComment: I had to look it up on the internet, and I'm still not sure how to apply it to your photo. In any case, we're only dealing with one star here, and it is nicely placed to create an interesting silhouette of your skyline. |
