I"m going to guess that this was done with a filter/mask. I think the composition is really excellent. The way the arms of both the real person and the mask go flying off in different directions and the beads of sweat of the shadow-mask really give the image a sense of hitting someone hard and sending them flying. Along with the way the subject's body is turned and way the shadow-mask is leaning really give the image a lot of energy. On the whole, I think the choise of harsh lighting was very good, but think there could be slightly more fill light on the face of your subject. Good choice of B&W and low contrast tones. This image was well thought out and masterfully executed. Bravo! 10

I really like the soft tones and narrow DOF. Gives her a dreamy appearance. The eyes, with just a bit of coloring are quite captivating. I also like the flow of movement of how my eyes are led...up the neck to the earing and over to the eyes, and then down her hair. I don't mind that the top of head was cut off. Nice intimate portrait. 8

Well timed capture but the image appears very grainy and what happened to the background? Contrast is a bit too high, imo.

A nice bit of color contrast for a hackneyed subject. Very good capture of the drop and I like the water tones as well.

Great stop motion image that has wonderful duotones and interesting composition. The low-key really makes the subject stand out and this image has great impact. Very well done.

Beautiful and graceful subject that was captured very well with excellent detail. DOF is good too, but I don't see this image as having been a challenge to stop the motion.

I like the stopped motion of the tee and blades of grass up in the air, but find the shot overall to be too dark (at least on my monitor) and the compositioni appears odd in that there is just one leg showing.

The muted tones of the background are wonderful but your subject fills such a small portion of the frame, and is so poorly lit that it is hard to see and detracts from the overall impact of this image, which has a lot of potential. If you could have zoomed in more, and shot the image at a time of the day that would have assured better lighting it would have improved the results.

Technically I guess you could say you accomplished a stopped motion image, but one without artistic merit, imo. The background, besides being underexposed and ugly, has no relation to the subject. I think with a bit more expousre you could have whitened the milk more to have greater impact. The one thing I do like in this picture is the milk droplets that appear to float in space.

Very cool picture ! I love the duotones and low-key image, as well as, the angled cropping. The lighting is wonderful and you also did a very good job of burning around the edges and corners. This is an exceptional stopped motion picture.
