Wonderful tones and facial expression. Narrow DOF really helps to isolate the sharp focus on the eyes and very good catchlight in the eyes, as well. 7

Very nice silhouette and I especially like the small buildings in the upper left to counter the well lit and formidible subject. Nicely done. 8

Beautifully sharp focus and wonderfully natural colors and tonalities. Great detail is evident in the shirt and hat. Only negative I can see is a missing left hand. 8

Gorgeous Femme fatale ! Lighting and tonality is exceptional and portrays well this film genre. I love the look on her face. I just wish the gun was all one tone as the bright spot just above the trigger is distracting, but this is really minor in a really exceptional photograph. 10

Subject matter is very interesting and along with the wonderfully rich sepia tones make for a very compelling street/candid portrait. Focus is very crisp and DOF really isolates well the subject from background. The busyness of the background, though still discernable, is offset very nicely by the brightly captured jacket of the musician. The jacket almost becomes the "centerpiece" for this image as it symbolizes the weaving of music he must be playing. The lines of the jacket, along with the parallel lines of the traffic cone, instrument, R-leg and pillar muscian is seated against also give a subtly obtained rhythm. The details, down to the positioning of the hands, look on the muscians face and position of his head all add to an exceptional photograph! Very well done. 10

Love the late day(?) lighting and the play of shadow/light here. Clouds and high contrast really give this picture a dramatic feel. Also a good feeling of balacnce of all it's elements. Very painterly and beautiful. 9

Colors are nicely saturated and good detail captured in the rock. Love the creamy smoothness in the sky. I just find the subject matter to be somewhat lacking. Maybe if a person or animal was included somewhere in the shot I would find it more interesting. 6

Very nice lighting to bring out the nicely (but not overly) saturated colors. Great detail in the skin of the pepper as you can almost see the striations. Very sharp photo! 8

Lighting is good and I like the interplay of shadow/light here. Good catchlight in the eyes and she certainly is a pretty young lady! Skin tones are exceptionally good. I also like the snapshot appearance with the heavy whilte border and the slimmer grey border gives it a touch of class. Though she appears posed, it's does not look unnatural. Job well done! 7

A couple of things I think you really did very well here is the exposure is excellent with the backlighting. Don't know if you used fill lighting or some kind of reflection, but the girl's faces are clearly visible and not dark at all. Secondly, I like the way the dark bushes frame the photo and give the scene a kind of private look so that the view here is almost as if we're spying on the girl's private moment of prancing and playing about. What makes this picture for me is the way the light shines through the dress of the girl nearest to the cam. The grass seems oddly too yellowish/green, but still not a big deal and like the effect of it's bright luminance. I think the scene lacks is some other main element, such as a fountain or gazebo to unite the girls in some kind of activity, because as it is now, they are to disconnected. 7
