Sparkling circleby stinguComment: hey mate! i'll admit that i gave you a 6. mostly because the shot is too small to appreciate it well. dpchallenge allows up to 640px. maxing out your pic size would be great. potentially good, it's the post-process that's let you down. |

To the Rescueby neophyteComment: cute pic ... perfect timing, great coloured background and really sharp. splendid shot. worth a 10! :) |

Cameron at bay Cubedby Jason_CrossComment: this looks good ... that fisheye of yours gets some decent results.
in post process, i'd probably edit out that small outer circle. it seems to be a littl extra flare or mirroring. not a big issue, but it'd clean up the shot slightly.
great value lens! :) |

Wet Head by 4trtoneComment: i'm pretty impressed by this. actually, i'm keen to get a set of extension tubes and your shot has sealed the deal. just wow! that dof is insane and the detail is great.
congrats on the win, i think this would have taken the others by storm. |

Purple Dreamby renefunkComment: good shot.
actually, i gave this shot an 8 when i first saw it, but on review i upped it to 10. partly because i think it's the only nude, partly because i was angry at having to rate 200 bad shots of flowers.
the reason i gave an 8 was because of the lighting. the purple light works well, but i found the whiteness across the face too distracting. i also disagreed with the cutting of the bum and hand.
however i felt i was being too harsh. anyway, this was one of the best shots in the challenge. well done! |

Shades of Purple in HDby jbsmithanaComment: great shot! surprised me to see it after all the flower shots! :)
i think this photo has a lot of potential ... did you shoot in raw? if so, i'd crop the hell out of it, leaving only her butt and the bike. would have made for a nice effect.
but, good submission. one of my faves so far! :) |

Have a Cokeby SDWComment: great pic and you've used my favourite subject: the sky!
i like the contrasting colours of the blue sky and the green/black bottle. but i find the angle of the bottle a little uncomfortable. it's good to be creative, but in this case, we don't really get to appreciate the full bottle.
but a good shot. angles are all about opinion, so others are welcome to disagree with me. |

Unobtainium by MickComment: after my first comment, i'm now more impressed that you've explained how you got this.
i really thought it was a mini plasma ball you can buy and use at home. but knowing it's a steel ball and infra red pen is pretty amazing.
you've definitely earned the ribbon with creativity and a great shot.
110 second exposure is smart. you wouldn't have used any external lighting ... it's a great effect!! |

Unobtainium by MickComment: this is brilliant ... congrats on the ribbon.
did you do this with one of those small plasma balls you can use at home?? i'd love to know more about how you got the shot! :) |
