Oh Look, it's for sale!by GeeeComment: OK, I'll bite. What does a boat for sale have to do with seed... I can think of some options, but none that are really implied by the image or the title... |

Drive or Walk?by awhitingComment: OK, I just don't get what this has to do with the seed challenge... I might be daft, but there you go!
Also, the uneven background with the car on one side and the almost legible but not quite lettering on the building is too busy. A Shallower DOF rendering the background a creamy blur would serve the image better. |

the end and the beginning by ursulaComment: Interesting POV. THe outside of the puff ball is a bit funky, probably a bit too much USM. I also can't figure for the life of me what the dandilion is flopped over, and it's bright top distracts from the main thrust of the image. |

Solar-powerby garlicComment: Hmmm. I'm having trouble getting the seed aspect to this. I know the plants have seeds on them, but they don't seem to be the real subject of the image... This is a beautiful shot! The sky is tremendous! It just isn't seedy enough... (Wonder how many times that pun is gonna be used in this challenge! LOL!) |

Thievery Protection by Mother Natureby h2Comment: It is unclear what the brown thing between the two fluffy green seeds are. If it is a branch, I think it should have been eliminated. If it is another type of seed with natural armor, it needs to be presented more focally. Also, this would be improved by longer DOF. I know that the shallow DOF was intentional, but my personal preference would be to have both seeds presented with sharp detail. There just isn't enough background for an artistic DOF with bokeh look here... But that is probably just me! :) |
