Triple Chocolate Brownie Cookiesby quiet_observationComment: Generally good composition and stacking chocolate chips on chocolate bars adds nicely to its overall "yummyness"! Technically it appears to have a yellow color cast that suggests it might have been taken with incorrect white balance. Setting a black point would make the picture stand out more and the focus is a bit on the soft side. |

fried eggby soerenComment: Interesting concept leaving out a plate and positioning the shell like a milk glass. Lighting is tricky for this one but you did a good job with it except for the dark spoon on the far right. You might consider additional lighting to make it show up more prominently. |

Chocolate Mexicanoby GermaineComment: Lighting is good and the black backgound works exceptionally well for the light colored parts of the image. Some people may have difficulty recognizing the chocolate pieces at first and be confused. The image is not quite level and should be corected. |

fresh lime juiceby crayonComment: Nice colors, good composition, good use of shallow DOF and generally decent technical quality. The only thing lacking in this image is a high interest eye catching item such as having a very large water drop that inverse reflects withini it the lime on the branch in the back. |

Prawn Tail Nibbles with Cranberry Mayonnaiseby AlexSaberiComment: Color, composition, lighting and overall technical image quality are top notch. The background bowl is very close to the edge of the frame and some viewers will find that distracting especially with the thin orange border cutting through the rim. |

Would you like some?by slo007Comment: Composition is fine and it is a very unique take on the challenge theme. DOF in this image is great. It would be a better image if you could have had some light coming from the front on the left side to better illuminate the bird, bowl and front of the holder for a more even lighting distribution. |

Don't Driveby zoshyiiComment: It is a nice high key image and the red berries work very well with the snow white background and they are sharply focused. Nice job! |

Dove raw, with riceby ramiComment: Some viewers will puzzle over exactly what your intention is with this fine image but it is a very fun picture that commands attention. Use of DOF is good and the overall image quality is excellent. People that would never have a problem with seeing a cooked chicken wing on the plate may think you are implying something cruel be done with the dove. It is a very creative image. |

Organic Spaghetti and Meatballsby jazzmikComment: Very appealing presentation of your dish. Lighting is perfect and the shallow DOF is used to good effect for highlighting the food. Great job! |
