Beautiful Bokehby PaigeComment: Gorgeous portrait, nice smooth tones and the bokeh is like a rose clipped to your subject's hair. |

A Little Pixie Dustby scarbrdComment: Great expression capture. Wonderful clarity in the eyes. You did a great job getting making it look as though your subject is looking up at the bokeh. That is a very clever idea. The soft focus of the arm and hand is a bit of a distraction but otherwise is a beautifully crafted image. |

From the Seaby DeniseBernadetteComment: Very pleasing and beautiful circular bokeh. Would like to see more light on your shell and the edging on the sheel, particularly on the right side, looks artificial and is a distraction from an otherwise superb image. |

"Are you talkin' to me?"by captbenderComment: Superb color, lighting and clarity. Nice capture of the lizard in a good pose position. You might consider cropping about 15% off the right side to remove the least intersting content in the composition and offset your main subject for greater viewer interest. |

Steller's Jay Looking for Acornsby TallisManComment: Birds and bugs (particularly butterflys) tend to score high in bokeh challenges. That will be true again in this one. The way your yellow background highlights the bird is a terrific example how bokeh can support the main subject. The bird is caught in wonderful pose. |

Drinks At The Starlight Roomby LouisComment: Call me silly but when thinking of bokeh, images like this one are what comes to my mind. The bokeh makes the image. The technical quality of this photograph is top notch from composition to clarity. One of the best submissions to this challenge. |

Happy Bokehween!by nheilweilComment: Beautifully done. Great use of circular bokeh supporting your main subject. You might consider cropping about 25% off the left side and about 12% off the bottom to offset the mini-pumpkin rather than leaving it centered and this will also better highlight the best part of your circular bokeh. This will give the composition a more eye pleasing look and balance the bokeh against the pumpkin. |

Rose hipby jmritzComment: Pleasing composition with its color and rule of thirds placement of the main subject. The colorful bokeh is particularly pleasing and gives it an impressionistic feel. |

Beauty & the Beastby sherpetComment: Beautiful technical imagery. Superb sharpness. Great colors and your pleasing bokeh strongly supports your main subject. The border is a bit ostentatious but the photography is nicely done. |

Despairby krafty1Comment: Wonderful composition and great take on the challenge theme. It doesn't feature 'circles of confusion' but the background bokeh provides ominous, if not pleasing, background bokeh that dramatically supports the main subject - despair. Black and white is perfect. |
