I gave you a 7, was one of best I thought. Well done!

This is so amazing. So well done! I just love the sharp, harsh barbed wire fence, and that tower in your bokeh background. It's perfect to illustrate that evasive despair that just looms in the background of every minute of every day.

Excellent photography, Brad!

excellent, the barb and razor wire are nothing without the blurred tower in the bacground

Well there is no sense in saying that this one is unique, I'm sure you know that. Everything seems to be falling right, aside from the tower itself. I still have it right up there in the mix of the best, but I do feel a little off balance when I look at it.

Bumping to a 10. Very edgy (No pun intended). The out of focus tower is so critical to this image for context. Without it the image would be average. Maybe not beautiful bokeh but very effective use of bokeh.

Wow - great use of Bokeh to enhance this image. It would have been dull otherwise. But as is, the subject is the barbs, while the hint of a prison tower provides the perfect context. Excellent!

Good sharp foreground and an interesting take on the challenge. Where the background might not be pleasing in one sense it surely adds to the story of the image. Nice work.

I like this for some reason. The wirey subject with it's points and harshness against the softened blurred background works. It might not do as well as butterflies and flowers, but I find it interesting. 7

This is great! I almost used barbed wire for my entry too! Good thing I didn't. You would have blown it away! I love this. 10.

Wonderful composition and great take on the challenge theme. It doesn't feature 'circles of confusion' but the background bokeh provides ominous, if not pleasing, background bokeh that dramatically supports the main subject - despair. Black and white is perfect.
