Clock Tower and Skyby KarenNfldComment: Looks like shadow/highlight and/or some type of HDR treatment was given this image resulting in an unnatural haloing around the building. Or. perhaps. this was added "manually". Generally speaking, haloing artifacts add little to photographic images. Image is otherwise nice and perspective good. |

Winter slips into spring flowby gzuprukComment: Nice wintery scene and spectacular ice. Lighting was not particuarly good for this capture so a differnt crop might be considered. Offsetting the waterall from a centered composition and adding some heavy dodge and burn would have garnered this image a much higher score from voters though I suspect that its spectacular nature alone will get it an above average score. |

Where are the years going?by timfythetooComment: Intersting placement of subject and use of bench. Cute child. Image is oversharpened and since the bench is off level counterclosewise that acts as a minor distraction. Offsetting the main subject would have added more interest to the composition.. |

un beau jourby silverfoxxComment: Excellent concept and nicely composed. It has a strong feeling of a painting. Lighting is interesting. The use of slightly muted pastel colors is a strength. Nicely captured.
The corner edge in the uppper right is a distraction. Noise reduction is overused and very noticable but does adds to the surrealistic feeling of this image. |

watchby sigrun_thComment: Composition and BW processing are nice. The depth of field is probably way to shallow which leaves it with far to much uninteresting detail in the out of focus area. The problem is magnified with a bad case of digital "jaggies" in the sharp areas. |

Just My Watchby Marc923Comment: Nicely composed and well done B&W. It is a shame to waste so many pixels in the white border when you could make the selection you have larger and more impressive than it already is. |

Don't look back!!!by HeiSchComment: Interesting concept worthy of exploration but choice of depth of field probably does not work well for most voters. They are to important in the seen to be out of focus. |
