Just a Girlby wwfordComment: Funny comments about being staged, as if you might actually expect to happen upon a man and woman boxing during the challenge week. Personally, I thought it was an excellent setup.
What I want to know is how do you and your wife each rate personal trainers of your own? :) |

Small Change ? (a size conflict)by DBoyComment: It is sad that such a fine image as this gets such a low score.
This shot is much better than "Electricity: bringing light" of yours that scored over a 6.
You did a terrific job! Message edited by author 2004-03-04 13:08:37. |

Marital Bliss?by qmdiComment: The voters really missed the mark on this image that depicts conflict in a unique way. Keep up the good work. The distracting door or whatever it is on the right side is not enough to score this one so low. |

Conflictby jmsetzlerComment: I am always a little "conflicted" over an image like this, but not enough to give it a poor score.
The challenge topic really is only a guideline for taking pictures but most people probably believe no consideration to topic was given and they consider that important and so voted their conscience accordingly.
I was not one of the 12 that gave it a "10" because the upper beak and a couple breast feathers just below the neck were a little overexposed for my taste. But this is a great picture. |

The Gatheringby jmsetzlerComment: This is a decent water flow image and I gave it a good score but I'm sure you already know that it will get trashed for "failure to meet the challenge". Probably most folks, including me, will not see how this connects to the topic but that presupposes we know what was in your mind at the time. I assume you have a connection but it is not one most of us would recognize. I feel the quality of the picture takes precedence and that the challenge topic is only a guidline of lesser importance. |

Cozy by the ....by vtruanComment: Thuis is a good concept. If you had strong side lighting from the left on the baby you could accomplish two important goals: 1-You could see the baby much better. 2-You could prevent overexposing the flame in the fire. |

Lighting a Matchby knightdComment: The idea of capturing a match at the moment of ignition is perfect for this challenge. It is not easy to do. You need to have a clear focal point and the flame is overexposed. |

match this!by tolovemoonComment: Concept is good. Better clarity would help this image a lot. Every image needs a central in-focus point to attract the viewer's eye. |

Angles in Embersby coolharComment: The strength of this image is in capturing the heat waves over the background trees. Good job. |
