Oh, My... Sometimes you can do so much with so little. :) This shot is great because of it's high technical photographic quality, but also because you were able in include only a tiny amount of orange yet meet the challenge spectacularly. Kudos to you!

Decent composition and perspective in this image. The "fails to meet the challlenge" crowd is probably killing you on thiis image, but it's real downfall is the jaggies caused by oversharpening.

Nice try. Generally flower macros are not as appealing when the stamine is out of focus, but that is hard to with a flower like this. The best thing is take it using a tripod and stopping down the lense to its smallest aperture and hope for the best.

ulgy oranges

Decent attempt at a still life, but the lighting is a little harsh and too much Neat Image was applied. Overall focus is too soft for my taste but that might have been your intention. The positioning of your main subject can be debated because it doesn't meet the ROT and most still life images seem to be centered, but it seems OK to me. Photography rules are only guidlines and each image is unique.

I'll bet the "fails to meet the challenge" crowd is killing you on this one. :) Pay no attention to that.
