Dapple Cat Is On Alert!by smardazComment: Dappled Cat in dappled light. Nice detail, good composition. A bit clishe, but I can imagine, how tempting it is to make another portrait of your favourite model :) |

The Legless Lizardby GeoffroComment: Oh... I think if the lizard was more in focus, instead of the tree it would've help this picture a lot. Dappled light is barely visible, but the detail in lizard's head is very, very good. Also the tree texture, however it is more prominent than the main subject. |

O'Briensby skewsmeComment: So... I like the composition and the story behind, which every viewer has to discover on its own. Is the light dappled? I'm not sure. Looks even, just reflected from the floor. I'm not judging it however on dappled light existance, as it is quite fresh attempt on the challenge theme comparing to majority entries. |

California Country Roadby GoboltsComment: The contrast is very soft making the upper part of the image quite flat. Probably due to the harsh light during day. You could try to do it in the evening or early morning, or bump the contrast a bit to add some vibrance to the composition. |

In the Redwoodsby sfaliceComment: The roots are great. Sky is barely visible, so I would suggest to crop it out and focus on the roots. It would've been interesting to move a bit to the right to get different persective and give the picture more air by getting rid of the heavy tree on the left or making it less prominent. |

Sidewalk Chaosby johnmcbostonComment: Dappled light is there, however there is no composition in it :( Maybe if you made a close up at the object or show a bit more of surroundings it would've help. |

Quiet Twilightby IndigoButterflyComment: Beautiful shade of blue. Probably you tried to focus on the petals, but it's a pity the leaves lost detail. Maybe a bit of fill light would enhance the photo. |

Squirrel was last to leave . . .by glad2badadComment: Nice detail. The light is limited making the picture a bit dark, but it adds to the mood. Background however is not very attractive. I would try to blur it more. |

A Dapple A Day...by Rachel34Comment: The part which is in focus is very small comaring to the rest of the picture. The eye is searching for the main subject finding the blured edge than finally landing on the lower left corner, where you focused. Dappled light is well visible. Maybe more centered composition or bigger DOF could help. |
