Retired Colorsby amandaloreComment: Yay! I can't believe it... I said I would be estatic if I landed higher than a 4. I am also very happy that the suggestions that were posted were ideas that I had at least tried to do, so it seems that I wasn't completely in the dark. (lol... that was a pun; my "studio" consisted of three desklamps, with energy efficient bulbs equivalent to 100 watts each, a coffee table, and an almost too small piece of posterboard paper masking-taped down) :)
I took several shots from a lot of different angles and this one seemed to be the most interesting. (One of these days, I will get a membership so that I can upload photos). A view even just a little bit higher from above rendered the photo uninteresting, and a shallower dof was interesting enough, but made me feel a little dizzy when I looked at it. I also tried putting it on the only possible black background I could find in my apartment, which was useless because it was a textured, partly shiny leather book cover.
But anyway, the point of all this rambling was that I just wanted to express my happyitude and tell everyone who voted and/or commented on my photo thanx!! Message edited by author 2006-04-26 02:38:47. |
