The brick path leads me into the picture, but then I get stuck about 1/3 the way in. The contrast between the tree in the foreground and the distant bridge and stoplights was nicely captured.

A tighter crop or wider DOF would have really helped this shot. The outhouse on the far right is "too close," and nobody wants to be "too close" to one of those. You can almost smell it through the screen. On the other side, the tree trunk just poking in like that is distracting. Since it does give a shadow on the back side, you might have included more of the trunk in the shot.

Great job on getting the reflections right, and catching the late light in the sky and on the lake.

The low dust cloud and slight ridge between the town and the power grid really add to their sense of motion. I really liked this shot. You might have cropped the power lines on the right, and brought the left side in a bit to keep the rest balanced.

My main issue with this shot is you have too much sidewalk, which isn't part of your subject (like the reflections) or providing contextual contrast (like the shrubs). The neon inside disrupts your reflections. Next time tell the manager not to be so rude and turn off the sign while you're taking pictures.

Great depth, sky, and distant cranes walking in the water. Visually, you have a good sequence of light-dark-light. A slightly narrow crop, maybe coupled with a little less on the top and bottom, might have helped the cranes look more a part of the subject, and pushed your score into 6-land.

This image looks a little squished to me. There's strong lines headed off to the right, but a lot of empty space in the top half of the picture. You got a pretty good reflection, but otherwise the lighting is fairly harsh. The contrast on the boat makes it look like it shouldn't be part of the subject. Compositionally, the little pier poking in the corner, where the boat itself it cut off, gives a cluttered look to an already detailed image.

Nothing about this shot seems urban.
