What a back and forth - to me it was clear that it is a projection on real boxes, the shadows clearly show that. Well, good you had a proof in the "making-of"-shot.

Just a few thoughts of mine:
I must admit that I don't understand the title.
It's a bit too blurry for my taste, or not blurry enough to seem intended.
The thing top right is more a distraction than an interesting foreground.
