Interresting shot. Nice to see someone try something different. Unfortunately, I don't think the subject you chose is interresting enough to grab the attention. I find myself wishing that the DOF wasn't so shallow, so that I could see what the surroundings look like.

This is about as country as you get :) I have two complaints with this shot. Firstly the focus is a little soft, not much, but enough to hurt the overall impression I get when looking at it. Secondly, the light seems very bright (middle of the afternoon?).

Nice view, great dramatic sky. I think this shot might have worked better at another time of the day. It seems to have been very bright out when you shot this, which not only causes your sky to be a washed out light blue, but makes the trees appear very dark. Also, the bright white in the foreground is distracting. Soft, late afternoon sunlight might have worked better =4
