Very pretty shot. Part of me agrees with your lessons learned but the other part of me says "hey - it's an expert editing challenge therefore a little of the unrealistic is perfectly acceptable." Looks sort of dreamy or maybe how one might remember (in their minds eye) a perfect day at the beach. I voted this 7.

What a fantastically real and fun shot! I adore the kids faces and you guys obviously had a great time with this one. That's what it's all about after all! Maybe not a technically perfect image but it sure makes my smile and feel that warm family feeling! Back to bump you up to 8.
