| 10/13/2010 11:17:00 PM | American Ironby MrHllywd07Comment: Well, at least I finished ahead of the Yellow Chair! I thought this would do better, but to some, it may be a little obscure. Thanks for the comments, and yes, this is all natural colors, and with a piece of raw iron such as this, and the wrench, there is and will be some blue tints to it. The solder splatter comes across as chrome. I did use a flash bounced off of a gold reflector. OH...and thanks for the comments. Message edited by author 2010-10-13 23:27:36. |

| 12/09/2009 09:33:18 AM | The Crowd is my Toolby MrHllywd07Comment: Post challenge comments from my phone.
I heard the term shoehorn a few times in the comments. I would have to agree, it was a shoehorn, but I looked at this challenge differently. I would have not entered this challenge if he didn't have cash in the cup on top of the piano.
I am a tradesman, a union tradesman, so when it comes to tools of the trade, I fully understand! But, I do not care who you are or what Ÿou do, Ãou have a trade if you have a job and earn money. This guy would have not been playing the piano in a lounge if there was no one there. He was playing for them, and the crowd made him better.
One comment by a newby who deleted their account before the challenge was complete. It is just that, a challenge, not a contest. |
