Future Pilot by SonifoComment: Great image, Sonja! Congrats on another ribbon. You are going to have such great photos for your children (and yourself) once they are grown!
Take care,

Lower Scoresby jimmythefishComment: Is this Jimmythefish??? I too bought a 10D and 70-200 4.0L and my scores are lower than normal! What's up with that? I'm giving you a 10...

In The Beginningby jmsetzlerComment: Congrats on a Top Ten John, although I expected this to ribbon. I would love to see your lighting setup for this shot. Did you use a small flashlight (like a mini-maglite) to control where the light hit? I bought a couple of these wooden guys, but the springs are too tight and I can't pose it well. I am hoping they will loosen up over time... Per my previous comment, I still put this shot in the Viper Mike category (which would be "Excellent").

In The Beginningby jmsetzlerComment: Looks like a ViperMike image! If not, consider it a compliment! Excellent concept, lighting, DOF, composition, etc. Perfect in all aspects! I love the way you were able to pinopint the light on the marble! Gets a 10 from me. I would have given it an 11 if you had found a marble that resembles the Earth.

Iguanaby jenaromComment: The color and the detail in this shot are wonderful! I have a Tokay Gecko, which is a turquiose and orange color. I wanted to shoot him for this challenge, but didn't have the time. Your lighting is prfect for this shot... The only thing I would change, if anything at all, would be a solid background. That is not always possible for a shot like thei though, due to environment not being set up for the shot. Well done!

Half Empty or Not fullby TurbotechComment: I gave this a 10 in that challenge, but just noticed I did not comment on it at the time. My bad... I usually comment on all my 9 and 10 scores. Great shot... very creative. I thought it was a mirror reflection until I read your notes. Very nice lighting... must have been abducted...

Checkmate!!!!by kengurinnComment: Crack me up! I gave this a 10 for making me laugh out loud. Who's up for a little Full Contact Chess? This reminds me of the time I spent in Kansas with my cousins. They do everything full contact, basket ball, tennis, video games, dinner... You name it, it was fair game. I don't think I ever got a fat lip at dinner, except there with my cousins and uncle! The towel and Gatorade bottle, not to mention the "in your face" pose/expression are great! Nice work!
