Fairy Godmother Cakeby SamaraComment: Congrats Mom on your highest score yet! You nearly broke into the six range!! That is awesome! I read all of the comments on this image. there are some good ones to learn from. Several people mentioned a tilt, but I bet it is not a level problem. If you take a photo at an angle other than straight on, it will make the line between the flat surface and the background (in this case the table and the wall) appear to be angled. If you shot this straight on, perpendicular to the wall, you would not have that issue. Great job on this shot!

SUNby SamaraComment: This is a fun shot Mom! I was wondering how you did it. I'm used to seeing light bursts like this in your living room, but not outside! great job!

Fairy Godmother Cakeby SamaraComment: This looks like something my Mom would make! (Are you my MOM?). It's not just the cake, but the cup and saucer, lace, and mostly the Fairy Godmother! I give it a 10! |

Rigatoni Loversby A WeaverComment: The colors work great in this dish, and the composition is very nice. I'd like to eat some of this right now! The only things I can think to improve would be to show the ends of both pieces of silverware, and to get the wine in the cup to sit level.Thos are just small nit picking, as everything esle is perfect! Very nice...

Old Family Recipeby dsidwellComment: I especially like the wooden rolling pin and the old family picture. They really make the photo for me. The bread looks awesome, too! Well done.

Cappuccino Crème Brûlée by GordonComment: So far, this is my favorite shot in the challenge. I love the composition, with just 1/4 of the cup showing, with handle. I've seen shots with coffee beans surrounding the cup, but never in it too! Great job! I give it a 9 (10 if it had just a little more DOF for the handle). JD Anderson |

Colour of Fallby tommy_tComment: This gets a 10 from me! The simple elegance of this shot is wonderful. The negative space really caught my attention, then the pattern of the veins in the leaf compliment the shape of the leaf nicely. Well done!

Deer's Revenge! by buzzrockComment: I had a feeling there would be one like this, and you pulled it off perfectly! Reminds me of the Farside! Too funny! 10
