Yes, the sky was extremely dull. Great for tourists, bright blue sky. This was take a few minutes prior to sundown. I'll post a color version. Don't miss the starfish!

Shutter speed was probaly close to 1/10 to 1/2 of a second. Tripod is in the water.

Well, I must say first that I'm not crazy about this challenge, and wish I could take all my votes back! Too many 5s. However, this is one of my favorites because it's bizarre. I like the leading line to the sun and the overall composition, particularly the artichoke in the far background. I'm not crazy about the direct flash as there is an odd disconnect of light and white balance. 6
