I don't really get into flower photography, but this has an abstract appeal. The levels look to have been pushed pretty hard to get those wild colors. Sure you didn't play with the saturation? ;-) Sure, it could use a little more DOF, and the flash shadows are pretty harsh, but as a flower macro that's not really a flower macro, it's appealing and fits the challenge.

Gravity: It's not just a good idea, it's the law. Nice sharpness and focus, and the contrast between the patterned couch and dog fur and the red cloth is good stuff. Something about the folds in the cloth makes it look a little too "homemade", though. I think you could get in or crop a lot closer and keep the impact of the positives while losing a lot of the negatives.

It was probably pretty dark, and I'm guessing you handheld the camera. Still, the softness of this detracts in a major way. I can't put it all down to camera shake, either, as the LRHC seems to be in focus. I really like the idea. Now quit pickin' your hole and get a tripod. ;-)

Without the first bit of the measuring tape, this would be a 10. The top 2/3 has a great IR look. Congratulations!

Spot on just about everywhere. Yeah, there's a little light spill on the R side of the shadow/reflection, but that's just a nit. Maybe better without the dark triangle shadow in the URHC, too, but now I'm *really* reaching. How'd you set this masterpiece up?

Nice bit of abstract! Probably make a really nice black and white, too, with those smooth, pink tones. Well done!

I love shooting these, as I live in Asia. This one's nice, but could be sharper and better exposed (big, white hotspots).
