I think this photo could have used a bit sharper of a focus but I like the composition and the contrast between the white and black.

LOL! I was totally looking at the thumbnail, not able to recognize the face, and was like "um I think maybe you got your references a bit wrong?" So this is totally great. And his expression is SO perfect for what you did. The only thing I'd prefer is the top of the circle not cropped off, but all in all a great and humerous image.

I love how there is such an emphasis on the flames, a strong shape surrounding it... and just a tiny hint of people in the background. A tighter crop on the right would have made this good image a great one, in my opinion.

Haha, it's great on dialup... I was totally sitting here when it was only a bit loaded thinking, what's that foil thing sticking up out of a loaf of bread? LOL. Your image captures or implies everything that is good about campfires - roasting marshmallows, sitting around with your friends talking.... and the bad, too, like the horrible plumes of smoke that make your clothes smell for days! :-)

Anyway, I think this is a great shot and I cannot find much to say that would improve it!

Beautiful capture of lightning! Would have maybe benefited from a rotate to get the ground horizontal, however (although not sure how that would have made the clouds look). I don't think this meets the challenge as much as a lot of the others but I am not marking down for that because it is very definitely related. Again, beautiful capture - you should be proud.

Looks a little flat to me - maybe because I am seeing the background as brown and it blends in with the orange tones of the subjects? Good concept though, and I like the composition as well.

I don't want to say the image is grainy or out of focus, beacuse it doesn't seem like that to me, but I imagine other people might think of your shot that way? To me this seems almost like an abstract, and I love a good abstract image. I think you did a great job here - especially with balancing the colors.

Hmm. Confusing concept (I'm wondering why the heck a golf club's on fire) but I am unexpectedly finding myself liking it. I think it is due to the sheer elegance of the trailing flame. This shot took my mind off of confusion and put it on the artistic, and I think that is a great achievement.

The title makes me very, very curious. Maybe it is better if I don't know! ;-)

As for the shot, I think it would have been better in sharper focus. I do like the bits of flame "raining" downward.
