Firepower - keep your sponsors happy!by boomeraklComment: A nice change from the black-background shots. Very dynamic, good colors and lighting.. makes me wish I had been there! (And I'm not a racing fan, so that says a lot about what I think of this shot) |

Hot & Spicy !by Tom_RobbrechtComment: Border makes me feel as though the flames are being unnaturally cut off at the top and left. Otherwise, I like the shot - especially how the pepper seems to go through the fire. |

Red-eyeby TygerrComment: Probably would have been a better shot without so much softening.. but as digital art, I really love it. |

Mystic Flameby SDWComment: Ooooh pretty. Reminds me of calligraphy. Noise is a bit distracting for me but overall a nice photo. |

Tameby pacpintoComment: Great title. I love the colors as well as the horizontal background and the overall composition. I think I like the candle being soft... maybe others would prefer it in sharper focus, but I think this image works really well when viewed in a more abstract way. There's a little bit of haloing that I notice around the candle - should try a larger file size if you can. I really like this image. |

Money To Burnby JSAYBComment: A sharper focus may have helped, but more than that I think there's a problem with how the flame sort of becomes the background. At least for me, there's not enough of a distinction there. But I do like the composition and concept. |

The Rebelby JutildaComment: Oh wow. Awesome concept. Awesome execution. I love how the brown fades into the background... maybe the matches on the left could be a bit less tilted to the left? But that's not a big thing. You have really captured, I think, what your title says, and you definitely evoked emotions from me. |

Controlled Burnby TandangoComment: The border's a bit distracting to me but the shot itself is very nice. I like how it looks like a comet. |

Warlock´s Fireballby russiComment: I really love all the different elements here - it just does not seem to me that they blend together very well. But still, it is a nice photo and definitely a take on the challenge that I like. |

Fire Fighterby prenticeComment: You may have gotten negative comments about this but let me say that I love the grain/noise! I think it can definitely work for this type of shot. I feel like this doesn't meet the challenge as much as I would like, because even though it's related to fire, it does not involve fire. But, on its own, I think it is a really nice shot - composed well, good colors and lighting.. I love the subject-as-negative-space thing going on here. |
