Glass Ceilingby LeeDComment: 43rd???? WHAT??? Geez. I guess it was voted down for the nudity like you said. This is an AMAZING image with such POWERFUL symbolism. I do NOT agree that it would have been better with a suit. The nudity emphasized the womanly aspect to this dillema. And as for where the battle is, well maybe people just didn't understand the phrase "glass ceiling".
I'd say, put a nice plain black border at the bottom and have fancy-but-simple looking text saying "Glass Ceiling" there, and see how it sells. |

Mood & Environmentby GoldBerryComment: Hmm. I think, to me.. she's not angry or worried looking enough to really match the environment. But I do like the concept. Composition and colors are good as well. |

DESTINYby David1411Comment: Something weird with border going on or else you rotated and didn't crop properly. Very nice smoke patterns. |

Too Manyby rkligmanComment: Living across from one of these cemeteries I know it is incredibly hard to get a well-composed shot... I do think the composition is the biggest downfall of this shot as it seems very unbalanced. One thing to do is the stone that is in the foreground, maybe could have been at a straight-on angle to the camera, so that the shot felt more balanced, and then you could perhaps crop off the bottom so that the partial stone is not visible, and a tiny bit of a tighter crop at the top would have eliminated the bit of clutteredness up there. |
