clone IIby KronusComment: I like this alot. I love taking portrait type shots of my kids and I am a sucker for others as well. The distortion is a great twist and the postprocessing gives it an Alice in Wonderland feel. I am not sure what color his eyes really are but the way they have been left as dark as they are works really well. Just amkes them look all the bigger. Great shot. |

There You Are!by MakkaComment: You know I just got back from my sisters wedding and I was hoping to capture some shots similar to yours - but alas it did not happen. Great focus and detail onthe bride. The colors are pleasantly subdued and just right. A little extra post processing work and you could soften the background shadow right on out of the pic. You do excellent work my friend. Keep it coming. |

"The Butter Church"by BeeCeeComment: Great shot. The color tones work really well with your subject. It has an almost fairy tale kind of feel to it. A little bit of dodging on the mountain to the left may have helped bring out a little bit of separation from the greenery in the foreground but that is just some minor nitpicking. I like this shot. |

Hello, dearby JutildaComment: Opening up your profile I was drawn to this one right away. And what was even cooler was opening it up and seeing that it wasnt totally what I expected. The DOF and crop is great and gives an interesting and pleasing feel to the shot. It almost has a candid type feel at a photo shoot - like you caught them during the break. Great shot. |

Flamingo Peek-A-Booby Baron152Comment: I almost always take a pic of these birds when we go to the zoo because I think they just look cool but I have yet to come out with one that is even close to having the impact this one has. Great shot. |

The 1720 Corridorby SandyPComment: Well unless there are a couple of people walking down this path and taking pics I may guess who I am commenting on. This is very nice and I will probably bump it up come end of week. Great detail, great colors, great lines. This has the feel that I was wishing the first one had. And the peek up into the sky outside the corridor is a nice little treat to top the whole shot off. This should easily do better than the original. Beautiful shot Deb.
Edit: So there are two of you in the same place. So now I edit my critique for you Sandy. Everything stands the same including the feel you have on this one compared to your original. The detail and postprocessing stand out way better in this one. A great feel, presentation and fantsastic detail to this shot and I would expect it to do better in score over your original - even though you had a pretty good score to start with. I will still most likely come back later on and give this a bump - so expect another edit.
Edit - Bet this is the longest comment post you have ever gotten during a challenge before huh? Bumping up (but dont tell Melethia) |

Rainbow Brightby sherpetComment: I liek this one better than the alternate. The colors work very well. Again - like many of your shots - the processing leaves it with a very nice "painting" kind of feel that suits these odd leaves quite well. Upon staring at the pic a bit longer (which I seem to do more often than not with yours) the border lines on the right side seem to have an odd blur to them. Not sure if its from what you did with the color enhancement or what but it sets it off just a tad. Do you have a copy of the original to post to see a side by side of your processing? |

A Glass of Wine with a Bottle to Goby chaliceComment: Trading Post - I didnt vote in this challnege but would have given this a 6 I believe. My biggest complaint would be the intense brightness on the glass. The post processing may be a bit overdone but it has a cool effect overall. I liek the smoothness of the bottle and the light reflection of the neck adds a nice touch. AS well as the sunburst onthe base of the glass. I also like the setup and crop. An interesting shot and not a bad score overall. Good job. |

artificialby gocComment: Interesting shot. I didnt vote in this challenge but I would have scored this at least a 6. A little blown out on the tip of the curly thing but the shadow on the other thing is very cool. Good colors and tones and the vignetting works well. Good shot. |

Waves of Greenby sherpetComment: ...and I wonder who this is. We both have our go to models although I am sure yours is doing way better than mine this time around. Another great shot. This is my top pick at the moment and will most likely get bumped up a point later on this week when I do my reevaluations. I need to get me one of these plants. |
