Well you have bokeh going on but it really doesnt seem to add a whole lot to the image. You rforeground "model" is lacking in detail and general interest. The colors and lighting overall just seem to bright to really bring out any strong detail. Feels like a rushed snapshot.

I opened this one up earlier when browsing through before voting and I was pleased that it was as cool as I had hoped from thumbnail. Great detail and excellent DOF. The mantis color is a great contrast the rest of the image and the background and foreground blur really add well. On eof my top picks of the challenge so far. Its too cold where I live for these guys to be hanging out anymore - I am jealous.

Sharp image. great detail and clarity on the fly and the patterns in the background add a pleasant element ot the image without being overpowering. Nice work.

I realize that this is within the DPC rule set but these type shots just dont impress me. I get the irony and all but as an image it does very little.

Nice - excellent use of foreground bokeh. I really like the varying degrees of blur thorugh out the picture that lead right back to the girl. Great timing.

Nice. Great eyes and great clarity on the girl. I am not so sure if the background really adds a whole lot to the image but it surely doesnt take away from it.

One of the better animal images. Had the title not been there the image would not have as much kick to it. It just wouldnt have made much sense. Would the bokeh here be called "barkeh"? That was bad huh. Decent image kicked up a point by the title.

Cool image. The background becomes the primary aspect and the silhouette is a nice balance. Outside of the two spots of light on the face this is a pretty clean image. Nice take on the challenge.
