Fascinating image. Hah - and I just got the title, well after I gave your vote. My guess is that this isnt jmritz but that isnt a bad thing. I find this image entirely pleasing with its variety of textures and elements. Would be pleased as punch if this were my image. This is my pick for red in the challenge. Bumping up to 9 and if I get off my lazy butt I may even find my too-too awards to add.

I wouldn't guess this as being a jmritz image. But if it were my personal image then I would be feeling very confident in reaching the first aspect of the challenge - create an image that speaks to you first. Now you may have failed completely in the second aspect because for me, as the viewer, you have not caused uncertainty or indecision in me at all. Nope - not one bit. There wasn't even the slightest of moments that I did not enjoy this image. I find this completely lovely as it dances around. The standout image in this challenge, IMHO. Thank you.

He was reading a math book called "The Life of Fred". He really got into it. And the spread between now and the image above is right around 3 and a half years. I go back through my portfolio every so often and it's cool to see the growth of my kiddos captured throughout the challenges. Unsettling at times but cool none the less.
