Old House with Tired fenceby annigComment: "Tired fence," ha, I think you made a pun;-) Anni, this would have been a very good entry for the Abandoned Building challenge. The textures are great. What a bleak looking landscape! |

Metroby doc_gonzoComment: I like the way the symmetry of the tunnel structure is broken by the angle of the photo. It creates converging lines which draw your eye into the photo. I guess if the lines were longer, you'd get a vanishing point. The range of very dark to very light is appealing to me in B&W. The noise works well in the photo as well. |

_DSC2308-Nina-1-n.jpgby pawdrixComment: You have captured her eyes incredibly well. There are no other whites in the photo that match her eyes which makes them pop (not literally!). Also, her eyes are in sharp focus, and the rest of the face is in softer focus. The tonal range is also very good. I really like this portrait! |

4.52 Coot and cobblesby MelethiaComment: The DOF in your photo is perfect. The duck is the obvious subject, and it is perfectly in focus, and perfectly exposed. Everything else just plays a supporting roll adding highlights and lines of interest. Great photo of the south end of a north bound duck;-) |

4 - Wheeling Suspension Bridgeby BudComment: I like the perspective and composition of this photo a lot. There is good detail in the under structure of the bridge which adds to the interest. If anything, I think I'd increase contrast a little to help sharpen up some of the lines. I find it very difficult to get good black and whites in that kind of weather, but you've managed nicely. |

The Ladsby RetroesqueComment: This is really good at what I'm terrible at...getting good candid shots. Even faceless, the photo is very interesting. It may be just DOF, but the blurred buildings in the background add to a feeling of motion in the photo. |

Kamileby annigComment: Anni, it's a good finish, but I expected this photo to score much higher. It's one of my favorites. Contratulations on another 6+ score! |

Church Funeralby annigComment: Nicely captured. Very interesting...a Catholic church with some western decoration. The colors are beautiful. |

Navajo Spiritby ericwooComment: This is my personal favorite in the challenge. The colors, textures, and the beam of light add up to an incredible photograph. |
