I'm not sure in what sense this is motion panning. It appears to be more of a motion blur shot.

Not really sure what to say about this one. It almost looks like the picture is being taken through a reflection on glass but the sheer effort of trying to work out what is going on here is detracting my attention away from the image itself. I'm afraid I don't find it terribly engaging.

The panning does not appear to have worked very well here. The horse is too out of focus.

Looks more like motion blur than a motion panning shot.

Similar to a few others this does not appear to be a panning shot intended to capture an moving object relative to the camera.

A fun photograph, but does not look like a panning shot. All I can think is that the camera and figure are physically fixed relative to each other and are moving together or the background is moving around them. I don't see this an example of panning the camera relative to the main item in the photograph.

The panning is not quite right and as a result the bird is out of focus.

I started at the beginning of the challenge entries and when I arrived at this photo I thought ... good focus, great action, excellent technique. A couple of things brought it down for me, though ...

1. the dark object in the bottom right corner looks like it might have been the top of someone's head; I suppose cropping this out would have reduced the impact of the cars being jumped.

2. there appears to be a distinctive blue cast to the image. Having looked at the other entries I don't think it's my monitor, but wouldn't swear to it.

Beatifully sharp ball/marble/orb. Good highlights and colour. Intriguing.

This is an amazing picture. I am a little surprised at the colour of the penguin and would have been tempted to crop out the white "thing" at the top. But full marks for technique.
