Eyes to Swim Inby just-marriedComment: what a lovely picture of an extremely sweet child. your conversion to b/w is very nice here. just one suggestion about the crop: i noticed while scrolling down the page that it was easier to be drawn to the eyes when the image is cropped vertically from the top, down to about where the higlights in the hair end...
she has beautiful eyes and you have caught a great expression. good job!! |

A Touch of Thaiby librodoComment: Another amazing shot. The background and the way you have placed the subject add so much to the picture. One thing I really notice is the way you have very accurately cropped the top of the head.. I cannot think of any crop that would suit it better and position the eyes more noticeably. Very nice indeed :)

Lines In A Puddleby artvetComment: Very nice abstract. Only one thing, the picture has a slightly imbalance feel to it; since the portion top of the diagonal is consistently darker than the portion below, which is consistently bright. Some dodging and burning could redistribute the weight, I'm just wondering if it could lead to a more balanced look for the image. 9. |
