looking from the pastby JohannesFrankComment: Hello from the critique club.
Well first of all congratulations on your score, a 6.5 is really good.
This shot is really well composed, I love the huge frame with the small subject because it kind of breaks away from the norm, which works well with the subject. The textures of the window are really nice, and the colours of the scene in back really pop next to the desaturated frame.
Compositionally, this shot is sound. I like the centered mountain because it leads your eye right into the scene. I like that the image is broken up into lines by the clouds, then the mountains, then the field because it contrasts with the vertical frame.
This is a great shot that suited the challenge well. Good job.

Driveway homeby kari1Comment: Hello from the Critique Club.
Well this is an interesting image to critique, and I actually quite like it.
It looks as if this was a technically sound image to begin with, not one that was turned to negative to draw away from any technical problems it might have had.
I like the purple lawn, this image works well as a negative because of the neat colours that came from it.
The fence makes good leading lines to guide viewers eyes through the shot. It has a nice composition, and looks like a well thought out shot. I think it deserves more than a 5.2, but with a challenge like this, every voter is looking for something different in the challenge images.
Nice work.

Trees of Knowlageby jentComment: Seems a little crooked to me, and you spelled knowledge wrong, which kind of takes away from the presentation to me. |

Bearing the Crossby angela_packardComment: This just has a really fake feel to it. Maybe some more editing would make the scene have some sort of emotion or keep her from looking like shes just stuck there. |

Passing Trainby jacoloComment: This seems a little washed out to me, playing with the curves a little might make it pop. |
