Nope, I haven't updated the photo since I uploaded it the first time. And for the record, that is a sidewalk the runs across there. Nice eye.

You mentioned that you were planning to reshoot. My suggestion would be to turn the padding on the goalpost so you can still read it, but you can take the shot looking down field. This would make it easier to keep things out of the background. Most of those pads just velcro around the post and can easily be turned around the pole.
