This had to be an incredibly wide aperture.
I can't explain why this is so good. It's the subtlety of hinting towards focus on the outer edge of the petal. The colours are great and the bokeh helps promote the focuses subject with a non destracting backdrop. |

7 Minutes Old-A View into the Nurseryby Blue MoonComment: A very distinct and important photograph.
The diffused glow gives it an etherel feeling, whilst the criss-cross wire in the glass makes you really feel like a spectator witnessing this amazing moment.
Great shot, that means more than most shots. |

Great timing, and very acute technical control. Shutter speed must of been very high, whilst you maintained a great exposure.
Good idea to go b+w aswell, emphasises the form of the birds and their form. |
