I'm not sure what I am looking at. This fits the challenge in so far as something harsh must have happened to cause this, but this image leaves the view wondering what is going on.

This appears to be a collage different photos. The different perspectives make this a very difficult image to understand what I am viewing. I think this could be improved if it were not so busy.

I'm don't think this meets the challenge. How is baseball memorabilia a harsh environment? The lighting is well done, but I wish that it wasn't cropped so close a the top. I think it would be better if the photo in the background did not have the heads cut off, ant this would also allow more natural lines to flow around the "C" on the cubs ball.

I find the black area above the kids heads very distracting. It does not draw the top and bottom of the image together, but rather forces it into two distinct areas.

This looks like a film photo that was exposed to daylight. It is really hard to make out what I am looking at. You may have used an interesting technique to achieve this image, but the final result does not leave a good impression.
