Dark Pagan Circleby alpharichComment: Some dodging on the rocks and burning some of the brighter area's could have really made this image pop. |

De Pittsburgh Caperby dtremainComment: The image is too dark for me. I think if you somehow showed an outline of a "caper" instead of slight lighting on the caper this would have stood out a bit more. Also what's with the red light next to the door and the all the other lights to the image left? I think you should have cloned those out for a more cleaner look. |

Dark Phantom's Castleby Rino63Comment: This image caught my eye from the thumbnail but when I opened it I was kind of disappointed to see the sky so dark. Not that this isn't a good image but I think you used topaz or similar too much. I like the look of a clean HDR but I get the feeling you started editing this photo but never finished. The building is absolutely beautiful and I but this would look really good just after sundown with a longer shutter speed to smooth out the water and allow the lights to shine through. |

Bountiful Harvestby mark082Comment: This is a really good picture but you would have been a top 3 if you would have zoomed in a bit and removed everything that had nothing to do with the pumpkins.
Congrats on your new Personal Best (PB). Again welcome to DPC Message edited by author 2009-10-14 09:58:06. |

The Rat Raceby shetlandComment: I really like this but I would touch up the rat in the very front. His neck looks a little off. The rest of them don't look photoshopped but the front one does. Can you add more collar over the fur?
Another thing that really stood out to me was the Rat in the front (right side of image) with his hand on the other rats leg, you have 2 of them. Not that you didn't photoshop it but it stands out as a simple copy and paste. To me it looks like you rushed it or didn't care.
I would fix the selected area's

DSC_8199-1-sm.jpgby Dirt_DiverComment: thank you so much Mel and Lydia for commenting on this photo. I would prob give it a 5-6 also. I wasn't expecting to win a ribbon from it but I still would have liked to get it in ya know? And yes mel I think I have that problem with most of my shots, they just don't meet the challenge that well. Guess that makes me "unique" right, hahaha? |

It's always up in the air when you do something like this because 1/2 the people will look at the ball and want it in focus where as the other 1/2 will want the girl in focus.
Thanks for your comment I really appreciate it. |

Augustby kandykarmlComment: Wow that is an amazing processing job you did. I'm really amazed that you were able to pull out this beautiful image from such a snapshot style shot. This should have finished much higher than a 6.29.
BTW you have your 18-70 listed as the lens you took this with, :) But I'm glad you like the lens. |
