Forgotton by scooter88Comment: This would have been a really good image if it was advanced ad you did some burning on the post. I think you should have also used USM to pull the image out more. |

hiding.jpgby laurie241Comment: Cute picture but I think you forgot to edit it. Try sharpening it and tilting it so the tree is straight. Also use a little dodge and burn on his eyes to really bring them to life. Also other than you just shooting and having a good time, remember that shooting during mid day will give you a very hard light like you see on this head and shoulder. In this case you should have spun him around and used the light in your favor. Also try using some flash in daylight as it will help with lighting up areas where the sun is hitting your lens and causing it to expose differently. |

Peeeeeek!by Dirt_DiverComment: Originally posted by walrus451: I LOVE this image but I have one question: why did you use such a small aperture and such a high ISO? |
Camera setting... I manually set the camera to ISO 100 but with one of the main settings it was set to ISO auto. I didn't know it until after I got in the house and zoomed in that it was all noisy. As far as aperture, well I was shooting with a softbox and 2 strobes. The image was extremely bright and I needed to control it. A faster shutter speed wasn't giving me what I wanted as the higher the aperture went the blurrier everything else got. So in shortness, it was an accident. |

a poverty of airby skewsmeComment: To me I wouldn't say this is harsh. We need air to breath and without some type of visual BG for why the biker it breathing through a cloth I donât see âharshâ. I don't think this will score well, but I like the editing. |
