Freezing rippleby harkonenComment: I look at this one but just cannot see anything in it that I can relate to ;-) The pattern is very subtle. 5. |

Aloneby ColeyComment: Refreshing! I was watching some Russians doing this at C0oney Island last weekend and wondering whether they might have sniffed a vodka or two before taking the plunge. I remember swimming in the sea of northern China during the winter. The sea was frozen and had ice flows. It was like swimming in razor blades. Refreshing! |

Night Shift Driverby APComment: Nice one AP. I was looking through your portfolio. Didn't realize you were in Brooklyn near the Heights. You have some nice shots, this one included... |

Tadjoura Djibouti Baboon Herd.JPGby Errnesto777Comment: That's quite a landscape there. Arid with lots of seasonal erosion. Interesting form the bushes or trees have. The baboons blend in a bit too much for me to pick them out easily. |

Serenityby LimescopeComment: Very nice texture and pristine white in your photo. I like the framing. |

33 1/3by LimescopeComment: Your photo brings back some pretty good memories; the low light, the spinning disc, the atmosphere. You captured it all, IMO, and in a nice crisp way. I've been recording some of my vinyl LPs recently and made sure to record those little sounds of the disc as it starts and ends - with even a few scratches on them. Somehow that sound has more character than digital CDs.... Nice work. |

The Great Andromeda Galaxyby jlanoueComment: Lovely shot. I like that account of how you get dumped by the eggers and sucked into the black hole of astronomy on your profile page. I can feel the attraction already. My daughter and I plan to build an 8" Newtonian telescope this summer and lug it up to the top of the Green Mountains where we often go camping.... Your portfolio is very inspiring. |
