The biggest problem when shooting macros of ICs is the inevitable dust which always ends up on them. You did well to avoid that issue.

Lovely old sewing machine, a Singer possibly. I think of my dear mother when I see such. She has long made clothes for her family in days of little money. It is a nostalgic item which I can understand and appreciate and your photo is not so bad (but it is a machine, not furniture, even though ever present in some homes).

When you went to such effort it is a bit ungrateful to criticize, is it not. I think the overall effect is very good. Possibly removing the coincidence of the lamp top and the base of the cliffs would have enhanced this composition. 8

Those scribbled on doors are a work of art. Not so easy to photograph since they usually have some deep shadows around one side or other.
