Cactusby VeioletsComment: Botanical photos, you teach me, should never be overlooked. They always have some sort of careful pattern showing, be it Fibonacci numbers, or geometrical symmetry. Perhaps they are signs of 'the plan.' ;-) |

Reflecting Giantby trevytrevComment: You remind me with this photo that context is important - even in the visual arts. The context might be a tree to show scale or some words to express the context. Some wonders of the modern world are easily overlooked without context. For instance, I believe no one can truly understand peace unless they have been drenched in war. The context is often missing these days. |

Early Sunday, cold, wet fun.by summer03Comment: Many a year I spent surfing on the North Cornwall coast in all sorts of weather. Usually the best surf was in bad weather. I remember the ice cream headaches from plunging ones head through waves in the winter and walking along frosty beaches to get to the waves. Your photo brings back great memories.... and it is a nice shot too. |

Assessmentby GermaineComment: A small amount of movement brings alive a fertile yet static background, you teach me. The journalist's view. The viewer viewing the viewer. Useful quirky metaphors. |

Week 5 - B&W Monsterby taddzillaComment: You remind me that the cartoon caricature one sometimes sees in real life is almost surreal. It is a useful subject and reveals something about life at the time. |

Week 06 - Stargateby hajekaComment: You remind me that fish are symbolic in some way. Vulnerable. A Christian symbol. Associated with water. A fish out of water, and visual proverbs. Your photo teaches me to see the symbolic and consider that carefully and what it might mean when composing or showing a photo. |

Week 5by muz64Comment: A small hint, a tiny peek. "A keyhole view" is what you remind me about with your photo. It is a useful way to compose a picture and I am learning from it. |

Overpass - WK06by DJWoodwardComment: Juxtaposition is not only a nice word to say but an interesting element in photos, so I am reminded by you. "The hole in the curtain" - I tend to remember composition types by little phrases like that. I will remember this one. It is effective. |

Week 1by chris48083Comment: You teach me to seduce the viewer into a story, a dark night in...., and the sound of a car in the distance. On The Road. Passing by Edward Hopper's cafe. Dark colourless acrylic paints... hints hints hints. I find inspiration from this lovely image. |

Passing by (b&w 2008 #3)by nikolaosComment: You remind me that the graphic elements in life are often useful backgrounds and that a small amount of movement in an otherwise static composition brings an image to life. I learn. So many things to learn... |
