This meets the challenge, but overall the scene is a little too abstract for me. I think the shallow focus landscape works here, but the boat blocks too much of the fish, and overall clashes with the scene.

I had an idea similar to this, but with a guitar. I didn't submit b/c I couldn't get the composition to look right, but this looks nice here. I like the selective focus on the middle of the remote as well. Good work!

Lizards enjoying the sun

This is a nice shot, but I think I'd like it better if it was a bit closer on the lizards, which would also crop out the reeds on the left - they seem bright compared to the rest of the scene. I think the green color of the lizards would look nice with more green in the picture (in other words, moving the camera to the left to get more foliage in the background). Just a suggestion though.

I like the idea here, but the trees seem to detract from the image, rather than add. Also, there isn't a lot of contrast to distinguish the figures from the ground in some spots.

I'm sure you were going for this look, but still, I'd like to see a little more detail on the subject's face. This could also give the image a little more color. Either that, or maybe the focus set on the city and the child's face out of focus.
