Beauty in Destruction

Kind of hard to see the irony here. It looks like a car headlight, but maybe something in the picture to put a firmer emphasis on the "beauty" would help make the connection. The geometry of the wreckage is interesting though.

The reflection of the light really sells this shot. I like the contrasts between the lighter and darker elements as well. I think the image would stand well alone without the border though (yeah, it's small, but i'm stretching for some sort of criticim = ) Nice work. -10- Mav

Ready To GO

Comment:
A little overexposed. If your camera doesn't have the option of manually setting the exposure, I would have aimed the camera at a subject slightly brighter than the child, half pressed the shutter, and then recompose this subject before fully pressing the shutter. It might also give a little more color to the shot.

The image is a little muddy looking, I'm guessing from a high compression. I think a different angle might be better also. The subject is right in the middle of the frame, and isn't altogether that interesting.

I like the subject, but I feel the exposure doesn't do it justice. I think a darker image of the same subject would be more powerful and more adept at conveying a more "aged" image. -7- Mav

The word "corvette" is enough to get the idea of speed for me = )

Rather disgusting (those are bug splatters, right?), doesn't really convey "speed" though. I think this is a car, but I can't tell.
