Peace Pleaseby SonifoComment: Good visualization of innocense. Compositionally, I like the textures and the desaturation. Nice work. -9- |

hole 12, par 4by willemComment: I like the decision to use infra-red here. I also really like the negative space in the sky. In my eye, the portrait orientation showing a lot of the sky creates some tension in the shot - The tree and golfer appear to be the more important aspects of the shot. I would like to see this as a landscape shot, imho. I think the golfer is a great touch, showing the diminuitive size with respect to the tree, but I think he/she gets overpowered by the sky and tree combined. |

forever and a dayby grigrigirlComment: While I like the surreal effect here, it might be a tad overdone on the edges. It isn't noticeable on the top of the frame, but the green fading the white isn't quite as powerful. I think this would look great cropped to a portrait orientation, framed by the white columns. In that way, the 'mist' might look more natural. A great shot though. Very emotive. |

Curves n' Linesby dinnComment: Nice use of geometry. Might work well as a black and white too. The curve on the top left is a little distracting - I want to focus more on the detail of the glass panes but get interrupted by the aforementioned shape. |

Kookaburraby moodvilleComment: Lovely colors. I also like the fact that you picked an uncommon bird to shoot (at least in the US, probably not where this was shot lol). The shot might have been a little more interesting if shot at an angle that would show more of the environment in which the bird is living though (if possible) |

Haunting Absenceby tyt2000Comment: Excellent use of lighting and perspective to give this the eerie feeling suggested by the title. The symmetry of the windows adds balance and strength the composition while the chair slightly throws off that balance - very nice. |

Sky light!by kosmikkreeperComment: I like that she image is divided by the darker elements. The blue sky at the top resembles what the sky might look like at dusk. Below the first separation though, the lightning offers a stark contrast to the peaceful connotations drawn from the top. The reflection of the water at the bottom is a little bit of a return to a calmer subject. I don't know if this is what you were intending when you shot this, but I think it really makes this special. Nice work. |

Aloft by BradComment: Nice use of monotones. I really like the composition - the diagonals and verticals created by the masts and the rigging almost appear to physically connect the subject to the right side of the frame. Wish I could offer some suggestions, but I have none. One of my favorites this round. |
