Tacks to find the breeze.by banditComment: Nice use of the challenge topic, hopefully most people will get it. Too bad about the hazy background, but you can't control the weather. |

The Ocean is Our Bridgeby ccraftComment: Great wide angle effect = )
I like how the image is divided between light (left side) and shadow (right side). The bridge serves a dual purpose of separating this lighting and adds to the scene. |

February Thawby rileyComment: Not really fond of the use of selective desaturation here. It doesn't really add to the photo other than to prevent the guardrail from blending in too much with the trees - adding some contrast might have accomplished that in a better way imho. Also, the bridge is not perfectly horizontal - in this framing, it is somewhat awkward. Might be better to include part of the bridge that is connected to the ground. |

Walking to Workby nicoledbComment: Nice use of contrast and shape. I especially like the continuation of the bridge through its shadow. |

bridge over calm watersby kiddocComment: I think a little more contrast would help add some impact to this. The bridge blends in a little with the trees in the foreground and background. |

The Violin's Soulby fotodudeComment: I like the subject and framing. If this had been a member challenge, I'd recommend some dodging and burning to make the highlights and shadows more contrasty. Definitely some potential. |

Commonwealth Bridgeby michael_pComment: The subject is a little complex here for my taste. Emphasis on either the bridge in the foreground or that in the background might work better. Having both in full focus causes my eye to wander. I think the focal point of the image is the curved portion in the mid-right of the frame, but am not naturally drawn to that point. Different angles of that subject might yield some interesting results imho. |

Intersecting Curvesby bbmohrComment: I like the curves, but feel that selective desaturation does not add to this image. I would actually prefer to see the actual colors in their entirety. Composition is pretty good though. |
