Under a fiery skyby dkentComment: Powerful shot, not my idea of a portrait though, I'd have gotten close up to the child and used the clouds and hills as the background. 5 |

Emmaby AlexMontyComment: Whoa! Awesome DOF and use of light here, great expression on her face, beautiful model, can't say anything in negative of it. 10 |

goodmorning hobbesby phreakComment: This one, I'm sorry, looks like a snapshot, with the dog and the tree competing for attention. The background immediately around the dog also draws attention from the dog, instead of to it. Probably would have been better with a larger aperture - smaller f stop number - to shorten the depth of field and focus on the dog's head to make the background blur a bit. 4 |

Da Boyzby kelmatComment: Like the effect here, nice tone, great border, really compliments the shot. The wall leads the eyes back to the boys. Highlights look a bit blown but a good shot overall. 7 |

A complexion of Sun and shadesby HighNoonerComment: Great shot, good DOF and use of available light. I like how his head is tilted and his eyes seem to stare right into the soul. Interesting hairdo! 8 |

Cheese!,Cheese!,Cheese!by MikeOComment: Nice close up! Makes me chuckle. Great DOF, really draws attention to the face rather than any other point of the shot. Nice wide open eyes there, compliment your model on that one, goofy smile. 7 |

Bjössiby marvinComment: This is a very nice shot in portrait orientation, very clear, like the colours and reflection you've captured. Not quite my idea of a portrait, but I like the shot nonetheless. 6 |

He was coming for me...by BigKComment: Scary dream man, especially with the teeth and eyes. I think the lighting on the fence is very harsh but I like the detail in the cat itself - it's a stuffed one, right? - and I think the effect you've got is effective in drawing attention to the cat, not anywhere else. Really dislike the lighting on the fence and under the cat though. Good DOF. I'd have given this one a 5. |
