Beautiful Blurby sekarmalathyComment: Agreed! Excellent as ART, Dubious as to how it will "Play" among voters over-all, but I give you a "6" for ART! :) |

The Wizardry of the digital ageby HighNoonerComment: Excellent HDR and/or Posterization of an excellently-executed, while being difficult to perform timed-exposure! There is much artistic value and even photographic merit in this modern canvas.
I wish you well, even though we have both learned how fickle the DPC voter can be when it comes to art. I give you a "9" for ART! Kudos! :) |

holes in oneby tnunComment: Though not particularly appealing to me personally, (due to the heavy grain content,) that same grain content does give this photo a high artistic value as pointillism. This fact sets-up conflicting emotions in me.
Ultimately, I give you a "7" for hitting the challenge dead-center artistically. :) |

Food for thoughtby DanDareComment: Shades of Andy Warhol,...Shades of Blue are aesthetically debatable. ;) Simplicity and added grain add to the artistic value, but appears to be fractionally slanted. "6" for ART. :) |

wordby EstimatedEyesComment: This is both very artistic and potentially quite disturbing, depending on what the purpose and the "word" are ultimately described as being.
A book (The Bible) in a water puddle? I will very much anticipate the back-story after the challenge is complete. |

nightlife 47by Spork99Comment: What a Unique Bokeh Bouquet! High marks for ART! "The jury is still out" on how it will play photographically, but I give you a "7" for ART, and for Uniqueness, since this is probably THE MOST UNUSUAL display of Bokeh that I have ever seen! KUDOS! :) |

Through the Treesby chazoeComment: This IS Quite emotional & visceral for me! I like the focus on the tree bough in the center of the photo with the zoom framing.
We both know that potentially this will not track well with the photographic purists because even the focus-point is of questionable clarity. However, at least this artist sees the Fine Art value of such an Impressionistic photo.
Snaps for having the courage to post it anyway! I give you a "7" for ART! :) |

Please ring the bell.by docjonnyComment: Great Texture and Lines that make the eyes dance around the photo! Basically Duo-tone, and quite well-down as such.
For me the tiny little button for the bell on such a large and ponderous-looking door adds a touch a whimsy that brings a wry smile to the face.
Pleasant in all aspects. :) |
