Kindred Spiritsby hahn23Comment: I have a soft spot for Westies. Lovely portrait of a man and his dog. The tight (and sharp) focus does a lot for capturing both of their expressions. |

Girl Waitingby redmoonComment: Image is a little too dark overall, I feel, and the background is kind of distracting. Maybe a different angle would've helped give the image a bit more much needed constrast, say lining the girl up against one of those trees instead of the very dark building. |

Love connectionby danielvComment: A lovely family portrait. I like that the focus is sharpest at the amulet itself. |

Ewww, what's that smell?by pamelasueComment: Oh great portrait, that expression is amazing, if not a bit upset looking. This is the kind of thing that's nice to see in candids - raw emotion that's not censored by the presence of a camera. |

Side Streetby kolasiComment: You're probably going to get decked a bit for the camera angle and motion blur in this photo, but I think they lend something to the grit of the scene. |

Enjoying the showby DaveSMComment: Image is a little bit too dark to make the man out clearly - this probably would've been a bit better if there wasn't a person directly behind his head - the black skirt creates a low-contrast buffer around his face so his expression doesn't stand out as much as it should. |

Miss Fix-it Needs More Handsby HipychikComment: Took me a second to figure out what was going on here. This photo would be a little bit better I think if you were at an angle such that the wind wasn't blowing the smoke straight into line of sight with the screw/spring in her mouth. Otherwise it's good. |
